Product review: The Mane Choice Trio

Hey dearies! Hope all is well at your end!  I won The Mane Choice Trio which comprises of the easy on the curls detangling Shampoo and conditioner and the soft as can be 3 in 1 leave in from The Mane Choice Africa in an Instagram give away 3weeks ago and this post is more like a feedback and review of how these products worked on my mane.

The owner of the brand has an amazingly lush natural hair which she attributes to using products from her brand as well as her Manetabolism hair growth multivitamins. I follow both the owner (@courtneyadeleye) and the brand (@themanechoice and @themanechoiceafrica). The Mane Choice is quite a popular brand with so many reviews and testimonials of their products all over Instagram from their hair growth multivitamins to their crystal Orchid biotin infused styling gel... All great reviews. I have had my eyes on the Trio for sometime and when I saw the giveaway I was like... Finally, here's your chance! Lol

I used this products following my normal washday procedure and I have used it for two washdays since I received them. Washday was a breeze using them. The shampoo is really detangling and lathers pretty well. It's sulphate free too.

The conditioner left my hair feeling really soft but as per cutting your washday in half your hair has to be properly detangled prior to washing. Detangling might still take you some time and yes it did take me more time to detangle the second time I used these products because my hair wasn't properly detangled before my prepoo step.

The soft as can be leave in was simply amazing! It states on the pack that it can be used as a leave in, as a detangler and as a cowash conditioner. I do not cowash and I don't plan to use it as a detangler either (I feel 8oz is too small for a multipurpose use) I will be using it as a leave in.  I also tried it out as a moisturiser but it didn't really satisfy that purpose for me.

After detangling... VOLUME! I detangled using my mane n tail detangler with my fingers first, thoroughly separated the tangles and followed up with a wide tooth comb. 

Results after blowdrying... Lush, soft hair! 

Final accessment... This Trio left my hair feeling amazingly soft. Softness that lasted for straight 3 and a half days.  I moisturise my hair mid day of the fourth day after my washday. My hair even though blowdried felt the softest  it has ever been and when my mum touched it the first question she asked was if I just relaxed my hair.  Yes it was that sift! New growth and previously relaxed hair, all soft as can be! 

The only downside is that the product is pricy and comes in only 8oz sizes.  But if you feel the price is convenient for you then by all means give it a try.  Your hair will definitely love it!
